I wrote this chart for the Daryl McKenzie Jazz Orchestra back around 2007. It was inspired by my time throughout the 1990's being involved in Melbourne's thriving latin band scene and (in particular) playing a great amount of trombone heavy salsa! Such wonderful and joyful music to play.

The title 'Ariba', should of course, be spelled 'Arriba' but due to my not spell checking this back in 2007, it has remained with the incorrect spelling due to the various recorded versions of it already in circulation.

The DMJO recorded this on their 1st album (the recording posted here) and I'm pleased to tell you this will shortly be published with an exciting new publishing company in Australia
